Cairn's debut performance

The Wee Nessie - for pre-school kids - as part of the Loch Ness Marathon and Festival of running.

Before you report us to the appropriate authorities, please note this was just a bit of family-fun.

Who's dulcet tones do you hear from the crowds?

Given the wet conditions, this could have doubled-up as his first cross-country race.

Well done Cairn! One day you'll have more medals and trophies than your mummy and daddy.

That the cutest running video ever - Chloe(12) watching over my shoulder and coo-ing like a dove! So lovely that you have captured it :-)

Should have perhaps added that we were there too. Husband did first marathon and I ran the 5k with my children except that my son refused to start off with me because I wore a witch hat and danced to the warm-up at the start- oh the power...

Priceless!

Remember he needs to be world class by 2040 to win the Olympic 100k race!!

So, Mum returned the favour by supporting Cairn in HIS race! At least he finished in a reasonable state!

I would like to add that Cairn's credibility has gone up by his refusal to wear fancy dress in the race!

Well done Cairn! The Consani genes are showing already.
Remember he has done some good training on altitude on the UTMB course.

Very cute, but (@Davie) Cairn didn't have to carry Mum the whole way and (@Cairn) you got overtaken by a girl at 2:07! :-P

Another running star in the family! Such a cute video, especially the expressions on Cairn's wee face.
